We are looking for a
Enterprise Infrastructure Architect (SIA) (m/f)
to be located in Schiphol-Rijk, North Holland, NL.

The Enterprise Infrastructure Architect is the chief technical lead within the Professional Services organization for storage infrastructure projects. The Enterprise Infrastructure Architect is responsible for ensuring that complex infrastructure solutions are scoped, architected and designed with sufficient due diligence to ensure a successful implementation.

In addition the Enterprise Infrastructure Architect is responsible for overseeing and reviewing the technical deployment including auditing the compliance of the infrastructure deployment to the original architecture/design, ensuring correct standards for quality of deployment and to ensure that individual solutions can be deployed within the infrastructure in accordance with NetApp design and implementation best practices.

The Enterprise Infrastructure Architect are the primary technical resource for progressing qualified named and major account interest in NetApp’s Dynamic Data Centre solution and methodologies.

The Enterprise Infrastructure Architect will be engaged 30-50% of their time in a pre-sales capacity alongside the Engagement Manager and sales teams. Each Enterprise Infrastructure Architect will be leveraged across multiple targeted accounts.

Requirements:

• 15+ years professional experience in a related technology or solution area.
• Experience in assessment and architecture of data center infrastructure solutions (e.g. Virtualization, Messaging and Collaboration, Data Protection and Retention etc ) in the enterprise market segment.
• Experience in the definition and roll-out of a service management framework including organization change aspects.
• Proven expertise in the area of operating systems including at least 4 of VMware, Windows, AIX, and Linux/HP-UX/Solaris/other UNIX.
• Understanding of database technologies and applications are highly desirable.
• Strong working knowledge of file systems and storage technologies (NAS, SAN), IP networking, and/or Fibre Channel networking is required.
• Previous experience with disaster recovery solutions, business continuance, Nearline storage, and/or data replication software experience is required.
• Strong technical and project management skills and must be able to work cross-functionally with other development teams and partner organizations.
• Well versed in key customer business challenges, specific experience in at least two industry verticals such as Finance, Telecommunications, Federal, Manufacturing is required.
• Excellent business acumen with a strong ability to map business requirements to technical solutions.
• Compelling communication skills across a wide variety of mediums and situations – including written and verbal communication and in presentations spanning formal and informal, from small to large audience.
• Extensive travel required.
• BS/BA in CS/EE required (or equivalent or experience).

Education and Experience:

• A minimum of 15+ years of experience is required.
• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, extremely complex technical projects.
