Ihre Aufgaben

We're in search of a manager of IoT who has experience with scaling IoT teams and implementing processes that foster project execution excellence within the manufacturing space. At Norican, our commitment to shaping the metal casting industry through cutting-edge IoT solutions fuels the growth of our digital business. As the manager of IoT & AI, you'll be responsible for leading our global IoT team and for the development and maintenance of our Monitizer® IIoT platform in collaboration with our development partner, this includes tasks such as:

Develop and implement the Digital strategy in collaboration with the Head of Monitizer and in harmony with Norican’s business objectives.
Lead and manage IoT initiatives within the Monitizer organization, driving operational efficiency and customer experiences.
Engage with IoT vendors to align their performance with established SOPs and quality/contract standards.
Identify IoT opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, product quality and customer experiences.
Cultivate and manage the global IoT team located in US, Germany, India, and China, guiding successful project execution and customer support.
Supervise the technical aspects of designing, developing and deploying Monitizer solutions.
Establish robust data governance processes within the Monitizer IoT team for scalability, reliability and security.
Stay updated with IoT technologies and industry trends, evaluating their applicability within our industry.
Foster collaboration with internal departments to align Monitizer IoT initiatives with business goals

Ihr Profil

Degree in Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in IoT hardware/software components.
Experience with operation and development of technical teams, with responsibilities such as process optimization, leading remotely and upskilling of talent.
Vendor management expertise.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, experienced with both global and local leadership.
Self-driven and motivated mindset, leading others by example.
Passion for driving business value through digital technologies.
Good written and verbal English skills.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
