Become a part of the ENERTRAG team at our location in Hamburg or remotely (with preference for ability to visit office regularly)as Hydrogen Derivative Sales Manager (m/f/d) and let's advance the energy transition together.

• Your are responsible for the relevant offtake negotiations (including the term sheet) with potential offtakers and conclude the final offtake agreements of projects producing a hydrogen derivative (e-ammonia, e-SAF & e-methanol). Your work will be indispensable to the bankability of these large Power-to-X projects
• Develop bankability and financing concepts for Power-to-X projects, in cooperation with the project financing department
• You apply to (sovereign/financial) support mechanisms in cooperation with other departments
• You integrate the logistic framework and conditions into the offtake contracts as far as needed
• You organize Enertrag PtX product tenders where necessary
• You integrate the newest developments and insights from the market and ENERTRAG projects into the negotiation process
• You ensure the integration offtake perspectives into project development (logistics, certification, developing financial model inputs, supporting tenders etc.)

• You hold a university degree in (Industrial) Engineering, Economics and/or related study
• You are fluent in written and spoken English, other relevant languages like German, Spanish, French, Korean, Japanese and/or Chinese are a plus
• You will develop offtake contracts that underwrite bankability of large investment projects. We expect a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience (in a senior role) regarding commodity trading, developing offtake contracts that were used to underwrite the bankability of large investment projects.
• A good understanding of renewable energy generation, hydrogen production/distribution and derivative production is considered as a plus
• You are an experienced interpreter of market (data), summarizing most important findings, contact companies and writing of analysis reports of various kinds to inform colleagues and management
• You are a strong networker and participate in networking / policy development events and representing the company
• You communicate with different stakeholder and have a good feeling with contacting companies effectively to access the right contact person for deal making with Enertrag
• You have experience with trading in new products / markets
• You have experience with analysis of policy developments, active feedback mechanisms and understanding of (decision) structures of EU and Germany
