PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The purpose of this role is to provide logistical driving duties and assistance to the storeman.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Collection and delivery of material and goods.
• Procurement of overhead consumables.
• Deliveries of outsourced material and goods to suppliers for further processing.
• Loading and offloading of delivered goods on-site.
• Packing and loading of goods into containers for shipment.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections of goods at supplier premises.
• Driving PE employees to required destinations for travelling purposes.
• Perform Ad-Hoc duties as required in line with logistical functions.

• Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum Code 14 driver licence
• Over 5 years’ experience as a driver.
• Good communicator.
• Team player with good people skills.
