At Rheinmetall Expal Munitions, we are looking for an experienced Engineer to drive supplier development initiatives, ensuring top performance in quality and delivery. This role will strengthen supplier capabilities in line with our corporate strategy and provide support to manufacturing plants on supplier quality issues, guaranteeing the availability of critical raw materials according to Rheinmetall standards.
Functions:
• Lead the implementation of the Supplier Development strategy focused on Quality and Delivery performance.
• Act as the main point of contact for Supplier Development activities within the company.
• Plan, coordinate, and follow up on actions from the Supplier Development Plan.
• Conduct audits on global suppliers and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform quality inspections on critical raw materials.
• Monitor supplier performance through Q-Scorecard and organize follow-up meetings.
• Participate in PPAP processes for strategic materials.
• Prepare detailed inspection and audit reports.
Location: Av. del Partenón, Madrid.
• Engineer Degree.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in working on quality roles or manufacturing processes in the industrial sector.
• High English level (B2).
• Use of other tools such as databases (PLM, Oracle).
• Preferable: ISO 9001, APQP.
• Knowledge of analysis techniques and methods (e.g.8D, FMEA, fault tree analysis).
• Knowledge of manufacturing procesess.
