Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain a securities processing system on IBM mainframe
• Deliver new COBOL features and enhancements
• Refactor and optimize existing modules for performance, stability, and maintainability
• Improve application logging and contribute to disaster recovery capabilities
• Integrate mainframe environments with modern decentralized architectures
• Support and enhance order management, transaction processing, fee calculation, and tax calculation functionalities
• Collaborate with other teams to deliver solutions in the securities trading and settlement environment
• Analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable system operations

Profil

• Experience in mainframe development
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, DB2, CICS, z/OS, and JCL, ideally within banking, securities trading, or financial services environments
• Experience with performance tuning and maintenance of large-scale transaction processing systems
• Fluent English; German is an advantage.
• Experience with Java z/OS, Xpediter, ChangeMan, Strobe, or Dynatrace is beneficial
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, collaborate effectively, provide constructive feedback, and demonstrate strong analytical and structured thinking
