Location: Detroit Suburbs, MI
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the entire paragon product portfolio to achieve company objectives and sales targets in the US
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase market share
Build and maintain strong relationships with major OEM’s as well as with the new EV automakers to drive sales growth
Responsible for the entire sales cycle including lead generation, networking, proposal development with the assistance of Technical Product Managers, customer presentations, proposal changes based on special requests, contract negotiations and closing
Point of contact for OEM’s inquiries and requests; development of special proposals based on paragon’s entire high-end product portfolio (sensors, spoilers, actuators, speakers, microphones, battery systems, etc.)
Collaborate with the head of sales and German marketing teams to develop and execute effective sales and promotional strategies
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and other documentation as required by management
Represent paragon LLC at trade shows, industry events and customer meetings
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, technical or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of successful experience in B2B sales and/or key account management in the automotive industry
Strong business acumen and the ability to understand market dynamics and OEM’s needs
Existing relationships with major automotive OEM’s as well as with the new EV automakers mandatory
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, from procurement to engineering and C-level
German language skills a plus
Proficiency in using CRM software (Salesforce) and other sales tools
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
