Aufgaben

  • Analyze technical specifications, interface documents, and job descriptions
  • Create mathematical models and conduct structural-mechanical simulations/optimizations using MSC NASTRAN and Altair Hyperworks (Optistruct)
  • Perform analysis of composite and sandwich structures for aerospace applications
  • Develop optimization workflows using scripting (e.g., Python) to automate FEM simulations and improve efficiency
  • Conduct strength analysis for lightweight structures
  • Provide predictions and correlations for Static and Dynamic experiments
  • Prepare technical reports/presentations, mainly in English
  • Attend meetings, review work, and present findings to the client
  • Contribute to improving expertise and efficiency of the Stress Office
  • Plan, coordinate, monitor, and support technical project work in the area of calculation
  • Control budget and deadlines for calculation activities
  • Respond to RIDs

Profil

  • University/ETH master’s degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
  • Experience in aerospace company or relevant fields, focusing on FE Analysis with MSC NASTRAN and Altair Hyperworks
  • Profound knowledge in FEM simulation of vibro-acoustic, structural analysis, and mechanical engineering is an advantage
  • Understanding of static and dynamic analysis
  • Ability to automate FEM simulation using a Python API or similar
  • Knowledge in structures, mechanisms, and Solar Wings is an advantage
  • Advanced English language proficiency is requirement
